So one of the last things that we talked about today that I thought was really key and I wanted to share was what type of ingredients are really beneficial for low to medium porosity hair. One of the things that I pointed out about this particular characteristic about natural hair is that people with low to medium porosity hair tends to have some of the biggest issues with dryness and everybody thinks because their hair is shiny they don't struggle with moisture.
We got a chance to dive into talking about low to medium porosity hair. One of the things I was pointing out to the tribe is that people with low to medium porosity hair, typically have more difficulty getting their hair moisturized because everybody thinks that hair texture looks easy or it looks shiny, therefore it must be moisturized.
But I hear more complaints about dryness from people with that texture than people who can really get that true Afro texture. . The reason is, because you need certain ingredients that can penetrate the hair shaft when you have low to medium porosity hair. So we talked about the fact that it's going to be your lighter and thinner moisturizers that include ingredients like aimino acids, panol, keratin,
Babassu and coconut oil. They penetrate the hair shaft very well and they give some of the most, transformative benefits to textured hair.
Sometimes it's the more beneficial for you because you're getting true moisture, something that's typically overlooked for people with low to media porosity here.
