What Is Here for Me?

I wrote this post to make a place where you can have quick overview of what order to use your Urbanbella Products in.  I placed each item a category and I started with your first steps.

What Order Do I Use my Products In?

Cleansing

Wash your hair first.  Start with our Honey and Aloe Lather Cleanser and wash one time with this. Then wash with the No.7 Non-Lather Cleanser. Wash your hair once every 7 Days (once a week).  If you are working to increase moisture and hydration then every other week wash your hair twice with No.7 Non-Lather Cleanser and skip No.78 Honey and Aloe Lather.

So the products that are for cleansing your hair are:

• No.78 Honey and Aloe Lather Cleanser  (Lather)
• No.7 Non-Lather Cleanser (Non-Lather/Minty)

Conditioning

After you have washed your hair you want to condition it. This is also where you detangle your hair and deep condition or steam treat it. So we are doing a few things when you have conditioner on.  So first step is to rinse out your cleanser. Then apply your Urbanbella Conditioner (Listed Below).  Detangle your hair and sit under a steam without a plastic cap.  If you don't have steam use a heated cap.  Use either one for at least 20 minutes every week. After your are done deep treating with any of your Urbanbella Conditioners, rinse it out and prepare for using a Leave-in treatment.

• No.14 Organic Coconut Cream Repair Mask
• SanMinos Treatment (VIP Only)

Note about Conditioner Add ons - Here you can add the Silk Hydration Treatment if you would like to enhance hydration and moisture. This product is considered a treatment and is not a stand alone conditioner.

Leave-In Conditioners and Treatments

Let me start off my stating that you don't HAVE to use a leave-in treatment.  They are very helpful with getting your hair in the best condition and I will explain the two that I offer below.  

Silk Hydration Treatment (AKA Silk Hydration Mist)  -  This light treatment is best applied just before styling.  It increases moisture, shine and curl definition.  You only need to squirt a small amount onto your hair and smooth your hands over your hair. You can also add this to your hair while deep conditioning or steaming to enhance moisture.  In that case you would rinse it out with our conditioner.

No.97 Sunflower + Shea Hair Milk - This can be used as a leave-in to soften up your styling products.  It has many other uses so you will also see it listed as a moisturizer.

Styling Gels and Creams

These are all of the products that help you hold your curl and definition. You can visit each product to understand the moisture level and hold level and here is a blog post that explains how all of the Urbanbella Gels are different. It will help you select the right one for you. You apply these after you have rinsed out your conditioner and applied any leave-in treatments if you like.

* I personally find that Curl Refresher Spray is very helpful for me when I am applying my Urbanbella Gels. It is listed as a Curl Refresher and it is, but products can easily have multiple uses.  Like in my world I use eyeshadow for blush ALL THE TIME.  So don't feel limited by a product name.  Moisturizing Products

These are the items you use on your hair to increase moisture.  You will usually see that I recommend using them once you hair has been styled and fully dry.  I mix a pea size amount of a creamy moisturizer with a dime size amount of Shine Butter and scrunch it on.  It helps set your moisture for the week and usually you don't need anymore.  As a note:  You can use your creamy moisturizers from Urbanbella to style your hair with twists.  It will be very soft and really boost your moisture level.
