The 2021 Fall Box is almost ready to ship! We are working on the details everyday to take the experience up a few notches and I personally can't wait for you to receive it.

I always think it's good see how things are coming along when you are waiting a little while on a Special Delivery.

So with this post I will share a quick video that shows the team working on filling the Fall 2021 Babassu Moisturizing Cream and Peppermint Cleanser. Normally it takes us about a week to make all of the products, but this year because so many of you bought the box we have dedicated 2 weeks for making products and getting them ready!  I am excited that you all are looking for to this treat!  And Thank you!!

How Does Making Products Work...

Once the team makes a product I let it sit for few days. Then I am checking the consistency and running a few tests.  I try out a sample from the batch and make sure it performs like the samples that I made.  I am checking to see how I like the fragrance on my hair. I am also looking to see if my hair feels good and has a nice shine.  Because I used Menthol and Peppermint Essential Oil in 2 of the products this season I check to see if I feel overwhelmed by it on the scalp.  Good news...I don't! 

If I want a different consistency I make a few adjustments and then the team starts putting the product in containers. 

The Benefits of me Formulating In-House

My approach to making hair care products is all about delivering results. I know the ingredients that work will for Afro textured and curly hair and I love using them.  Sometimes I may be in the middle of product and decided to add an ingredient or two that I did not plan on using.  The Fall 2021 Collection is no different.  While the team was producing the first batch of the Hair Moisturizer,  I decided to add Amino Acids. We have never had Amino Acids in an Urbanbella Moisturizer.  I can already tell you it's going to be amazing.  We're talking long lasting moisture.  Those of you in the Urbanbella Tribe already know the benefits of the Amino Acids so this is going be really amazing having those benefits in a moisturizer.

Because I make the products in-house and developed the products myself I can make these changes quickly.  These additions and changes really benefit us and our hair.

Next week they will begin labeling everything and start packing the boxes. Of course I will show you that part too!
